Words

A deadline is negative inspiration. Still, it's better than no inspiration at all.

The Wonder

Due to the wonder of modern technology, while I myself have moved spaces, you can always find me at www.getsoutmore.com

No matter where I actually am hanging my hat.

Which means, no more feeds, unless I work out a way to make one for the url. And right now? I can't even begin to imagine the undertaking.

Done

Kay, I lied. I worked it out. Although I'd liked to have a few more bright colors - it IS winter.

I'm working for 11 hours tomorrow so in a couple days, I shall come back and explain what the penguins are all about.

Messy

If you've been in here today, it's probably obvious that I'm working on a revamp.

I'm trying to make it fit in with my new 2007 life philosophy. The colors just aren't good though.

Be prepared for more changes as I cycle my way through old templates in the quest for new ideas.

While Away the Hours #1

Well, here we are in the first of a series of 'things I do to pass the time / avoid doing other things (like emails, packages and letters, cleaning the house, feeding the spiders), when it's raining (like it has been for a month), I don't work a shift for five or six more days or I've run out of books to read.

Exciting, yes?

First up.. the NEW 7 Wonders of the World.

I'm not sure whether this is a bid to actually put more into 'saving' these sites or to drive even more tourist dollars (although some of them get a large majority of the world tourist dollars already) - or because the 'OLD' Seven Wonders are "non-visitable". Except I think, for one of them, which they've nicely included in the list of the NEW ones.

I picked the following (skipping over the 'old' one since, well, it's already a wonder of the world and I'm pretty sure it'll stay that way).

The Acropolis.
The Colosseum.
Easter Island.
The Great Wall of China.
Machu Picchu.
Petra.
Stonehenge.

There are 21 properties and the final list is based on voting.

Go on, then.
