A deadline is negative inspiration. Still, it's better than no inspiration at all.

I've Got a Crush On You

An orange crush, that is.

On my head.

It's just that after two hours of bleach and with another 45 minutes of dye ahead, I was too sick of my own hair to bother getting the rest of the brown/red out.

Besides, I tell myself that I can carry it off - it's been worse colors. YJ, remember the shining white beacon of the last time I went back to my own color at AQ?

Oh, and tomorrow, I'm going to test a new photo site out so I've been getting pictures together for the comparison of the before-and-after-accident-Jen to post, which has involved trying to find some side-on shots.

Most of the ones that exist were taken with Lacey. I think you already know, YJ, how much those pictures mean to me - but every time I put that CD in - they mean even more. I can't ever thank you enough.

Sometimes I wonder, when I've got photoshop, why I don't take the extra five minutes to erase the pimples. *sheesh*

i remember The Change of Colour, yes. i also remember how the sound of whispering followed you around the cube farm afterwards. the people in that place, i swear... those pictures of you and Lacey are some of my favourites. that day is permanently etched in my memory. it was so sad because to Lacey it was just another day, with a special trip to the park. and she was such a big old doll. (not gonna get weepy, goddammit.) i truly was honoured to do it, and i'm glad i had the opportunity.

hmm, you know what's funny? It never occurred to me until you said that that there'd be anything *to* say, other than "Jen changed her hair color - it looks like shit/kinda cool/whatever." People are sad. I don't miss that place. I'll bet you never do either.

Nice hair! I've never dyed my own, but I once died my ex-girlfriend's hair pink.
